should of video'd the speedometer, I think he told me up to ~110mph, if you listen on the shiftpoints, you can definately tell its over 100mph, he hits 3rd gear at 85mph and you can still hear it go after the shift for a good while longer..

by the way stew, I believe that lightning was out at the track on sun, dont know if you saw it or not, but word is that it ran an 13.2?

 

i didnt see a single lightning run on sunday...now that i think about it only a dodge or 2 were the only other trucks runnin besides our crew...that i noticed anyways. if its the lightning im thinking about i beat him before i put the cam in. it was a mexican guy driving it from the pasadina area...he was driving it for a buddy of his. he usually drove a chevy and weve talked out there a couple times. he seems like a cool guy. he hung with 2 or 3 guys every time i met him and every once in a while translated our convos to one of the guys with him....


are we thinking of the same group of guys?

dont know stew? the actual owner of the lightning does speak english... his brother also has a lightning that is supposely faster than the the one in the video... cool guys to talk to, they are hardcore ford guys, we almost race everytime we see each other in the street!! just for the hell of it to have some fun...

 

whenever we see each other at the track i guess. its guna be a great run 4 sure. v8 and i had an extreemly close one last weekend. he whipped my *** twice cuz i just sat there spinnin, then finally i hooked good and BARELY squeezed by for the win light...he was caught sleepin on the tree

that night i had a .001 reaction, .003 reaction and a few .02-.04 reactions....then 2 redlights

 

yeah it does sound like they went over 100mph...either way, what a beautiful site, a chevy beating a ford
