Lol. They did change the regulations last year. Leadership must have reconsidered what makes a person healthy...

The new standards are retarded, for example I think its stupid I am in the same group as a 18yr old out of basic (I am 29) I have not had a problem with the test, I run everyday but its still stupid.

If you're that big they use the waist:neck ratio or the skin calipers anyway. Some bases have the body fat calculating machines now, so you could put up a pretty good argument if your waist is pulling points off your score.

Actually the new standards are better for me waist wise, I have a 34" so now I max where before my min was like 32 or some ****.

well I'm 6'6" and have a 37" waist.
I just did my pt test last week, I managed to do worse in every part, and I somehow got 1 pt higher than last years test. Seems they geared it more toward the run.

since June, i've done 8 PT tests, 3 of which were official, and i'm fixing to do another unofficial one next week and probably 2 more after that by the middle of May.

this is ridiculous

They work out for the 30+ crowd like me...I got a 92.8% Hell yeah on the once a year PT test! But they dont change until I retire now...4 more years and then it is on to my second career!

I also gained points in the waist department. I believe I get full points now instead of losing some for 34" waist.
