Default s10 5.3 conversion

I recently picked up a '01 s10 2.2. I have my old 5.3 engine from my tahoe that i did a lq4 swap with. I have exhaust manifolds that came on the 5.3, can i use these exhaust manifolds in the s10 when i put the 5.3 in it and have the steering shaft not hit them like they do on the sanderson headers? This is one of many questions im going to have during this swap im preparing for and i dont want to buy more parts then im going to need, i have alot of parts i can use already for it.

Thanks in advance.

No you have to buy specific headers to work, the stockers are to big and also you will need to change your steering shaft to a mid 80s s10 what i had to to on mine cause still hit the headers

cool! thanks. Another quick question, i understand i can use a stock 4.3l s10 radiator but it has to be recessed into the core-support, what do i need to do for transmission cooler lines to this 4.3 radiator from the 4l60e from a silverado/tahoe?

Stock stainless fbody manifolds work too, I have them on my daily driver with the stock steering shaft.

trannys should be the same hook ups for the cooler lines. if the fittings on the tranny are different just get a set off the 4.3 setup. lines should route the same
