UPDATE:
I picked up some LQ4 rods and pistons with 20,xxx miles that I am going to use with new rings and barings.

I also hit up summit for some ARP fasteners. I'm still waiting for the Crank bolt but I did get Head bolts, Rod bolts, torque converter bolts, and Flex plate bolts.

It was nice today (65ish) so I did a little work in the garage after work. I bought a Truck accessory alternator and Power Steering bracket and started cutting on it tonight. I am going to run the LS6 intake and to do that I have to cut...
Before:

After:

Then I started to make a template for the base of the relocation of the Idler pulley. I am going to get a short piece of pipe, weld it to the base and tap it for the pulley.

I built a idler pulley relocation bracket...

I had to grind the aluminum down flat so my bracket would work

I picked up some LS1 heads to bump the compression up to around 10.5:1. I will have them ported if the local guy still does it. I had him do a pair of 241's on my Silverado and they flowed some good numbers for a "street port".

I bought a flex plate, Catch Can,:

I found this that I had in my fullsize and it works perfect in my S10 so I might use it or I might sell it. I might sell the trans temp gauge too.
