Default popping in the frontend

Well I've got a pop coming from my driver front corner. I've jacked the truck up, nothings loose, in a bind, or out of place.

The trucks been lowered 3/3 with coils and angle cut blocks. It popped sometimes before but does it more and more now... Nothing feels off about it when driving either... Just a noise. Anybody got any clues??? Balljoint? bushing?

This is the 2000 S10 in my sig...

I believe there is a TSB on it? OOPs just noticed it was for a S-10. I had a 96 Tahoe lowered with springs and it made a bad pop/rattle when going over bumps when the suspension loaded/unloaded. Turned out to be the seal in the brake calipers where the pins went in were wore out and the caliper rattled. Might check that?

Upper ball joints wear out quick on S10s, especially lowered ones, but that should be easy to check with a floor jack. Also check the control arm bushings and pitman/idler arms. Most of the other joints you would feel, not hear.

Check your dustshield, it may be hitting the control arm. Here's some pictures if you wanted to trim it down and stop any noise that may be caused by the shield.

Well I noticed on the home this morning that it does it 99% of the time on the suspension rebound when its unloading. Even leaving a light, if the nose comes up at all it pops... Big swooping or rolling bumps made it so I noticed when it was doing it.

Possibly the shocks if it only does it on the rebound?
