My LSX/T56 Colorado
Well, yous guise that know me know a year and a half or so ago. I totaled my beloved red truck:
still miss it everyday, here is the thread from the wreck: As many of you have heard.. I totalled it today.. sad day indeed - Chevrolet Colorado & GMC Canyon Forum
I bought another Colorado from a friend with a broke tranny and slightly knocking motor, put a tranny in it and drove it:

I haven't updated anything about it in quite a while.. so here it goes, this will be a pictorial with some comments. Ill break it all down in another thread later on.
Ill start with interior:
Changed the seats (H3)
Changed the console (H3)
Door panels (09+)
Door sills (09+)
Dash bezels (red)
Cluster (xtreme with custom LED's)
Radio (back to factory for now)
Dyed the carpet (black)
Dyed floor mats (black)
Sound deadended the floors, back and doors
Will be changing the dash and headliner at some point.
The day I got the truck:
Now:
(blue/ red custom LED's)
Exterior:
Painted the bowtie red/black
Replaced and tinted the windshield
Painted the checkmate cover body color
Painted a new bumper for the rear to replaced the bent one
Painted the rear bumper plastics, mirrors, wiper cowl with bumper style paint
Added OEM black valence to the front
Installed clear corners in the headlights, still need to do the markers

Also got a set of charcoal titan 18's to swap as I please:
I plan on getting spacers and putting 4x4 flares on it, but just haven't gotten the spacers yet, this is how it will look:

Well the knocking motor only lasted a couple weeks, so on January 2nd 2012 the truck was parked in my storage unit until I got another motor for it.
Because I had already killed 2 5cylinders in my red truck and finished off the 5cylinder in this one.. I went with an LSX

Still have a lot of kinks in the wiring and tune to work out, the motor is still being broken in, so its not all out ready and done done.
And here are some videos of how it sounds, the exhaust will be changing, its entirely too small but its ok for break in miles. It along with injectors and fuel pump will be changed before the all out dyno tune, it only has a break in tune currently
