one of the main reasons ive been slacking on the build. had this little girl last November 7th and she obviously takes up a TON of my time! :-)

Ditched the fender liners for more space up front so I had to make a quick simple bracket for the fuse box and wires to sit in. ( cutting fender liners this week to fit in around everything nicely)

Went with the new holley valve covers with the coils mounted directly to them for a cleaner look, and powder coated them and some other things.

Engine bay with valve cover pulled trying to find the noise before I pulled the motor

Motor I just pulled out to have rebuilt to maybe use in my grand national project

Now with putting my new motor together Monday and putting it in I may ditch the rear mount and go single up front. Not because the rear mount wouldn't be fun or anything but to get rid of a lot of the extra piping and oil lines/pump ect to clean it up and simplify it a bit. Ordered some ls1 exhaust flanges and some sch 10 piping and t4 turbo flange/ vband to make something similar to this but a little cleaner for the pass side. Next update will probably have the truck with a front mounted turbo on it!

ill update more this up coming week when I go front mount and with new motor!

Looking good , i got a few ideas for my build while reading over yours . Prob going to mount my fuse box like you did and keep out my inner fenders . Looks like you ran your intercooler pipes threw the radiator support . Do you have any close up pictures of the pipes going threw

I just took a die grinder and hole saw and cut a 3 inch hole and trimmed with grinder to fit nicely then took some rubber hose n cut it down the middle and put it around the hole in the core support to keep from rubbing and making noise. Ill take and post some close ups tomorrow for you though.

Monday im going to try and have the new motor put together and in the truck. if the parts for the front mount arnt here ill start it as is. if they are it may be like thursday i start it cause ill be making the front mount kit for it. either way next week its going to the tuner down the street lol

and for a fan combo im running a camaro fan and 1984 corvette radiator. i cut the fan shroud down and did a ton of trimming and had to make brackets but it fits good. i also recessed the radiator into the core support where the ac stuff was at first.
