what a steal! and i'd say convince the guy to do boost & use the 241s... you keep the 706s on the LS1 to make that 400 come a bit easier.
and with a truck that small, the 3500's fine.

The ls1 doesn’t have heads it’s just a short block so I’m not sure if something is wrong with it till I go check it out.

no, i meant swap your 4.8 heads onto the LS1 for a bit of a compression bump.
with how light the truck is, it'll love it.

Gotch. Pretty sure the 4.8 has 862 heads if I remember right. I’m gonna get my new Jeep sorted before diving into the s10.

862 & 706 are basically the same.

difference was only in the way they were made


... but then you have 243s & 799s, which may or may not be exactly the same because not all 243s were made equal (the 243s from LS6 engines had special valves & the other 243s had normal valves).
