I have one that if you can make I would buy in a hurry. I have an 08 sierra 4x4 with the autotrac 2 transfer case. I want control of the clutches in it to make it act like an adjustable AWD unit. Basically a potentiometer to control the clutch pressure and transfer a percentage of power. This could replace the automatic 4x4 function, but I would like to keep the rest of the 4x4 functions un-altered. You think that one could be possible?

They're not meant to work like that - it'll burn the clutches. Its either on or off.

They adjust themselves from 5 percent to 50 percent without burning up? What keeps us from taking over that adjustment?

I guess I'm not understanding what adjustment you want to take over. It already is a pseudo-AWD system. What are you trying to do with it?

Take control over the awd. Right now the computer tells it to use somewhere between 5% and 50% output to the front axle depending on conditions. I want to have a know to do that instead. Tunable front power output.

Yea, that would be bad ***, mine feels like it's pushing the front tires now. I'd like to beable to control it and pull percentage to front out as I build speed and momentum and eventually basically have it in 2wd near the 1/8 mile mark running the 1/4.

That's not how it works. That lockup variance is how hard it engages the on/off switch. Soft at low power and hard\fast at high power so you don't burn it up. As Jake mentioned, its on our off.
