Mobile One has some premade boxes for tens. I have no idea how much $$$. I built mine myself to the exact specs for the speakers I am running. The premade box, leaves no room for amps like mine does. You might have to mount the amps on the back wall with that box and that makes it a PITA to adjust. I also think Q Logic makes a box and amp rack for our trucks. Other than that, check you local mom and pop stereo shops.

If you are interesed in building the box yourself, then take a look at this truck on sound domain. It looks sweet, and the guy even gives the measurements he used to build it.http://www.sounddomain.com/member_pa...=118335&page=1

Shyster7: I fixed you link so you don't have to cut and paste. I did forget to mention that firing them down is BETTER. Don't do what I did. I have lost a lot of low end "rap" base by firing forward. That is a good lookin box that guy has. Here is my pageI need to update it.

Thanx for the help with the link fast 4.8, i dont know what i was thinking. And i agree with you on sub direction. Facing down does produce a better, and lower output than forward. This does make the box building more dificult. Plus you lose air space, but you can make up for it by utilizing the area over the drive shaft tunnel.

well i was bored today and was driving around the pasadena area and i see this audio place called auto thunder.....yep sounds pretty lame, huh?
(this place in on spencer before the beltway if you are going toward deer park)

anyway, i go in and ask them if they have any boxes or could build me one...

well the guy goes to the back and comes out with one already made for a chevy/gmc.
this box turned out to be a downfire one also!
cost be about $50.00 // not too shabby for the box already being fabricated to fit perfectly under the seat. next, its time to get the factory speakers replaced......good thing my friend's dad works at best buy.....i get a mean discount!
