Yep! Exact same as the 4wd.

 

Will these work for a 2500hd 4x4? I noticed you stated for the 1500s they need the lower and could add the up mount later.

I wasn't sure if you were stating these could be used for the 2500's as well.

So, I'm wondering if i purchased these brackets, What size shocks and all i'd need for a 6" lifted 2500hd? I went on ridetech but it was all chinese to me, if anyone could provide some guidance i'd really appreciate it.

 

Well so these brackets are only for 1500s; you dont need them for 2500s.

To find out what length you need you need to measure from the shock bolt on the LCA to the top of the shock hoop on the frame, then subtract 1.5" from that so get your ride height. Then just look at shock manufacturers website for one that has a shock "ride height" in this range. Then divide the corner weight of the truck (probably 1500lb for a 2500hd) by half of the shock travel to get the spring rate.

I recently bought your top and lower mounts for my Avalanche. I'd like about the same ride height as you, so I'm ordering he ds301's. but I'm a lifelong eibach customer. Have used their springs in almost every vehicle I've owned. They don't offer a 7" spring. Nearest is 6" or 8". I think with the weight, I'm going to try a 1300# but which length do you think?

The problem with going with too short of a spring is the risk of coil bind since you will have to preload more to compensate for the shorter spring. So for this reasons I would not recommend a shorter spring for that shock. With a longer spring (8"), it may be impossible to get it installed on the shock, but if you can, it will be the safer route.

In your case I may recommend the DS303 shock with a 9" 1300lb spring since it is a little longer and you can use a longer spring on it. The ds303s sit about 1" higher than the ds301s. The avy is pretty heavy so it will require a little more preload, or sit lower with the same preload, but the important thing is making sure the shock, when sitting at ride height, is in the middle of its travel, and to also make sure you have bump stops installed correctly.
