Ill get one of the admins to lock his sig and put that he is a scammer in it. I dont have the permission to do that and I dont want to ban him as it seems some people on tech may still be dealing with him.

This guy is no good...ballsy for sure, still trying to buy and sell items when he hasn't yet payed up his past debts. We definitely need to put a warning in his sig so nobody else gets screwed by him.

You're going about this the right way Owen, it sucks that this douche is screwing you like this

I have tagged his sig. I changed his usertitle as well, just in case the sig restriction resets for some reason.

***WARNING***

There's some colorful language in this post, but I'm just trying to quote Scott as close as possible. We're all adults ya, but lots of us have kids too, and some people take a lot of offence to this kind of language. I, however, am a farmer

Well I just got off the phone with him. I introduced my self as Owen Altwasser from Saskatchewan, and he didn't remember me. I'd think Altwasser and Saskatchewan are two words that wouldn't fall from memory too fast.... He's in Orlando now, just started a new job there today, but using the same phone number. Talked to him for a good while actually. He's pretty frustrated with how people are branding him as some deadbeat loser with no money, when really he's a 20 year old with a shitload of properties. And he's gonna be making good money at that new job, so it shouldn't be any problem getting me my money. Which I wholeheartedly agree with!

He told me he doesn't like owing people money, and that's why he paid his doctor's bills and lawyer's bills right away. He feels he had a lot of good transactions online, and that just a few bad ones are ruining his reputation. He feels people were getting too impatient, and that he couldn't get things shipped when he was in the hospital. He said he refunded everyone for the intakes that hadn't been shipped fast enough for the prospective buyers. I guess that's his word against the Tech member who says he's into Scott for $650 dollars, and that the cops didn't give him any satisfaction.

He also reiterated that he feels that I'm scamming him, and stated for all he knows, I have a perfectly good pair of $150 dollar cutouts. I corrected him and told I paid $175 US for them, which at the time was about $187 Canadian. And with exchange rates being what they are now, $187 Canadian is about $190ish American. That was one of the times he said for all he knows I'm just being a ******* *****, and he did A LOT of online transactions, and he's not gonna remember just one. But he's gonna be making a lot of money right away, so refunding me my money isn't gonna matter a **** of a lot. So if I don't hear from him in a week or two, I should just get ahold of him and he'll get me my money right away. I'm getting the feeling he doesn't care about this situation too much.

Most importantly, he told me that it wasHIS FRIEND who was interested in buying those 806 heads, to put in a 97 truck. He has no use for a set of 98 heads because he drives an 08. OK, maybe that's so, but I think everyone can agree that from my end it looked mighty shady.

Maybe everything he's telling me is legit, I dunno. I'd sure like to hear from him or that friend in this thread, cause I don't wanna be bashing the innocent. I'll keep everyone posted, and I'll hold off another while on talking to the collectors and the cyber crimes detective until then. If all is cleared up, I'll tell everyone about it. Until then, my threads here and on LS1 Tech stay

Is that on the truck that burnt? I've already got his phone number, home address, and Google Earth images of his neighbourhood. And all the same info for his girlfriend who refunded a bunch of people $100 each with his paypal account back in January. I did my homework.

Sounds to me like he is just making a **** ton of excuses, to make it seem as if he actually gives a **** that you have not received your items... Just because you have made a bunch of good deals, people are happy, doesn't mean you can dick a few over, not try to right the situation.. I say fak that guy.. He should be banned, if he can not refund you for your parts..

He shouldn't have ANY bad ones. This isn't ebay, if you can't keep your **** in line, you don't deserve to be here.
