You mean to tell me there are still people in this world big enough to admit when they're wrong?! And not only admit it, but try to make things right?

It's refreshing to see an apology and explanation--it would have been much easier to run off and hide in another corner of the interweb instead of staying here and contributing to our community. Thanks Kevin!

[QUOTE=onyx] brian is an awesome guy as well as a good friend to me now. [QUOTE]

Brian is a great guy and someone I consider a friend

That took great guts to admit shortcomings.
We all could learn a lesson from this post.....Including me.

I don't mind donating my truck for a few days to whoever installed it so they can practice installs......a Radix would be a nice consolation prize

OK everybody hug! We're all good friends again!!

Turning to the left-brained part of this thread, after reading about the loose bolts, I too panicked, went out and checked mine. Sure enough, the passenger side bolts were fine, but the driver's side were loose. That explains my asymmetrical LTFT's. I followed the practice mentioned of torqueing the bolts via several passes and did find that after one pass was complete, the first bolts were loose again. In total, some of the bolts took up to a full turn over three passes before they remained tight. A test drive showed more normal idle speeds and much better driveability. I will probably retorque again after a few days.

Well, you learn something new every day! As a dumb newbie I didn't know you had to do additional torque passes after reaching the final value. Oh well....

Naked AV! I applaud you!!!!! It takes a real person to admit when they are wrong and offer up a genuine apology! This has to be the best one I have ever read. That's what wrong with alot of people these days, no wants will admit when they are wrong. ****, if you're wrong, you're wrong. BFD! Admit it and move on. Good job!
