Default beware of rumblebox

i bought a set of used Racetronix 42# injectors from him after i asked him SPECIFICALLY if they would fit into my FAST intake with FAST rails. he said they would. i got the injectors and alas they are not even close. when i confronted him about it he said it wasnt his fault and wouldnt offer to refund me my money. he told me that he had no way of knowing i was referring to an LSXRT intake because they would fit a FAST intake and alot of guys are running them.

by the way these injectors will not fit without modifications to the LSXR either. so regardless of mine being the LSXRT they still will not fit.

so i guess the question is what do i do. do i paypal dispute him or do i try and sell them to HOPEFULLY get my money back? ill let you guys decide his fate.

Not taking the guys side, but when ever I buy anything I ALWAYS double check it will fit my app first. Unless you specifically told him you had the lsxrt. I am sure you can resale them and make your money back or even more. GL

You didn't get ripped off, you paid for injectors and you did receive them. You should have done your own research to confirm fitment.

Agreed. It's not for other people to tell you what will fit on your own projects. Seriously, how did you expect him to know? Do you think he has all the FAST intakes in his garage?
Resell them and you'll be fine.

^^ Agree. It's the buyer's responsibility to do the research. Would be different if they were new and buying them from a company.

Why don't they fit? Is it an o ring issue? Or do you need a spacer for them?

Ok, since I just found this thread.

You asked if they fit a fast intake with fast rails, which they do. THOUSANDS of people use them with fast intakes. It's not my responsibility to do your research for you. I CLEARLY advertized them as LS1/LS6 style injectors. If those dont fit in a fast truck intake, its your fault for not doing research. I even offered to help you sell them after you realized you bought the wrong injectors. You proceeded to call them "garbage you wasted your money on" and started this thread like a child.

Ive bought the wrong parts several times from not doing my research, but i didnt go around talking **** about the seller for not knowing everything about my car.
