oil filter with Moroso pan????

oil filter with Moroso pan????
Hey guys. First of all, I have a Moroso 7qt oil pan on my new motor for the L. I went to put the oil filter on today and the F-er wouldn't fit 
It hit the oil pan, and would not thread in. I bought the motor with the oil pan on, so I don't know if they have the wrong one on there or what? But how could it be the wrong one if it bolts up, right? Does anyone have an idea as to what I can do? I thought I heard someone mention an oil filter relocator kit? Or should I just put my stocker back on? Thanks for the help guys, it is pretty much the only thing holding me back from starting the new motor. Joe
