How much hp and tq does a stock lighting make at the wheels? Just woundering?

 

A 'stock' Lighting is rated for 380hp / 450 tq at the engine - conservately figure a 15% loss to the wheels.

99-00's: Avg is btwn 330/350 rwhp and 400-430 rwtq, with some of the freaks higher.

01-04 ( there was no change btwn the years other than ecu ): Btwn 350/370 rwhp and anywhere from 430/450 rwtq.

I personally put down 358/433 when mine was bone stock.


Factory ratings were 360/440 for 99-00, 380/450 for 01's and higher.

 

How much does a lighting weigh?

 

Roughly 5,000lbs give or take 200 from what I understand.

 

Closer to 4600 empty.

Add in driver, you're pushin close to 5,000.

Mine weighed 4640, with everything but gas, and me in it. id say close to 4900lbs with a full tank, and my 250lb *** in it. I have since taken off the spare, and hitch which is about 100lbs.
