8 lbs is okay. You're only running 6 psi stock, so you'll be looking at a total of 14 psi max, maybe 15 on a cold day. Personally, I'd go with the SCT to start with, then a dyno tune to make sure your air/fuel ratio is spot on.

the way i understand it is that an8lb would only be 6lbs on the HD because of the diff on the upper btween the HD and the L.
I was going to get the tuner and the pulley same time install and the guy im getting from was going to do tune (custom)when he came in town in april
