Factory Pulley on Lightning?

6lbs can be very safe with a good tune. I would recomend going to the ngk TR6 plugs and a 170 degree stat with the 6 though. These truck can handle quit a bit of power, what they do not like is to be run hard for long periods of time. The eaton builds up a lot of heat.

If I get a 6# lower will I need anything besides the correct belt?

A good tune. Maf extender wouldn't hurt either.

Could someone educate me on these pounders? Im looking into getting a lightning and I want to know what they are. Are they pulleys used to get more boost?
