6lbs can be very safe with a good tune. I would recomend going to the ngk TR6 plugs and a 170 degree stat with the 6 though. These truck can handle quit a bit of power, what they do not like is to be run hard for long periods of time. The eaton builds up a lot of heat.

A good tune. Maf extender wouldn't hurt either.

if you're adding a 6lb lower to the stock upper, you'll definitely need a retune as well as a set of NGK TR6's. as mentioned, don't try to do back to back pulls since the Eaton builds up a tremendous amount of heat and you are prone to issues from the heat soak

Could someone educate me on these pounders? Im looking into getting a lightning and I want to know what they are. Are they pulleys used to get more boost?

what you're referring to is a "lower pulley assembly". It is a crank pulley replacement. With interchangeable lower pulley rings that increase boost as they increase in size
