Default z06 springs

I bought a 01 Z06 cam, spring and pushrods. I've seen people talk about yellow or blue paint on the springs but the springs i got have a maroon paint strip on them. I didn't pay much for the set but i was hoping i wouldn't have to purchase aftermarket springs. do i actually have the correct springs?

Just have the springs tested and go from there like you said.

The springs you have are possibly a crane beehive spring.

If they are off of an 01 Z06 it won't matter. The cam does not have enough lift to damage factory springs. The 02-04 LS6 cam has a taller lift and they require different springs.
