Z06 cam is it good??

Default Z06 cam is it good??

Can i use a Z06 cam in my 02 silvy 5.3L or is there something abit better?
Gathering a list of hi-po parts and making a BIG purchase soon.

Yes you can use it, and yes there are a LOT better cams out there. I'm not trying to sound rude, but click the search button and type in cam.

"better" is relative. you need to define what the goals of the truck are and if you are willing to go for supporting mods (higher stall converter, heads, etc) before a real suggestion is made. Are you towing? is this a pure race truck? daily driver?

agreed....i personally have the 2002 LS6 cam in my truck, i plan on taking it out and swapping it for a more aggressive one. its only been in there about a year, about 8000 miles. if you are waiting to do the install until next month i could sell you my cam. PM me if you are interested in it or if you just want to talk about the cam and my set up/experiences. i didnt think i would want to go bigger but once you cam it, things never stop and you are never satisfied. do alot of research and make sure you choose the right set up so you can hopefully get away with only doing one cam swap
