Default Yellow LS6 Springs?

Before I get flamed, I've searched. I know the yellow ls6 springs are supposed to be good for almost .580 and have around 294# seat pressure. That said, would they be a good spring for 220/224 .575" lift on 112 LSA? That lift is cutting it close. Thanks.

Personally, I would upgrade to a higher rated spring. .005" is not enough comfort room for me.

Yea, that's cutting it close, not to mention the ramp rates of the lobes make a difference also. If the lobes are very aggressive, you're going to want more seat pressure. The LS6 springs have 90# of closed seat pressure as opposed to 130# of the popular PAC springs (can't remember the part number off the top of my head right now...)

LS6 cam = LS6 springs, makes perfect sense, even boosted . I'm running LS6 springs with my current baby cam, and I will be using them in my LQ9 also, which I have a Vinci Trucker cam for (216/224 .551/.551 115).

I would not waste my money on comp springs. Spend the extra 50 or so bucks and get some patriot duals. Then If you ever go to a bigger cam you have springs good to .650 lift. Here are my comp springs. This Is why I will never put another comp product in my truck. Oh and the lift of the cam was only .574 int and .572 ext.
