Default Will this work?

I have a 2001 z28 and im putting a new motor in it. My friend has a 2004 chevy truck with a 5.3 in it. Will my patriot stage 2 heads, comp cam, ls6 intake, stock throttle body, and mass air work on his truck. with the conections on the wires and all for the mass air and throttle body?

the heads and cam will work but not sure if they are optimal for a truck setup, any cam specs??

the ls6 intake will take some work, no need for swapping the ls1 tb for the truck tb. no need to swap the MAF sensor unless its a lingenfelter 100mm version

the cam is a comp 232-234 595-598. i know its a pretty big cam. he might just go with my stock cam. how much better is a stock ls1 cam than a stock 5.3 cam?

a little better but not worth swapping IMO, you could probably trade cams with somebody for a smaller one that would work better, a 224 or smaller

Truck 85mm MAF is larger than the stock z28 unit.Everything else will work with his 5.3,you need to check to see what size chambers the stage 2 heads have to see if you'll need to mill them to maintain the 5.3s'compression ratio as it has dished piston vs. the flat top pistons in the ls1 motor.
