I am going to use the same cam and was thinking about milling the heads slightly to get more compression so I am wondering the same thing. Mine is a 5.3

I believe that's an .041" gasket...a 41" thick gasket might drop compression just a tad

You will have no problems with the valves touching the pistons until you get to the ~.610" lift range with that gasket....

Should work, I'm running a TR230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA w/ a .040" Cometic head gasket.

what kind of compression changes are seen with either slight milling or going with the thinker gasket? Is this worth the changes from a performance stand point?
