Default Will LS1 rods fit a 5.3L?

I need stock rods for a 5.3L.
I see LS1 rods for sale on ebay but I need to confirm that they'll work for my mild build. Can somebody educate me on LS1 and Vortec 5.3L floating rods?

Are LS1 rods and 5.3L floating-pin rods dimensionally the same?
Will LS1 6.1" rods fit a 5.3L with stock-type floating pistons?

thnx!

So what are stock rods that are 6.1" long, 945" wrist pin with brass inserts in the small end for floating pins??

I sent a message about casting numbers but no response yet.

Yes, if your going forged 6.1 with a Press Pin 945 if your using LS1 pistons. If you are going to bore a 5.3 to 5.7 specs

I don't think the rods I'm looking at on ebay are forged. They are listed as stock used LS1 6.1" (likely 6.098 but the seller rounded up) and the small end has a brass insert that I'm pretty sure is for a floating pin. If they're not LS1, then what could they be?

I'm just looking at a stock 5.3 rebuild starting with a 4.8 because used 5.3 or 6.0's don't exist where I am. The online junkyards want $600+(plus shipping) for a freaking 5.3 core. Is there a way to go to 5.7 with stock rods and cheap pistons? I don't want to spend more than $450 for rods and pistons. This is an el-cheapo build where I'm scrounging used or rebuilder quality new parts to put an engine together. So I'm looking at used rods and hyper pistons on the internet. Problem is, I've never built an LS before so I'm a monkey with a pipe organ. I see LS1, LS3, LSX and I have no idea what fits what. I've got a couple of the builder books and I'm reading here to learn. I appreciate the info you guys can share...

South carolina. I've got a good block but I need a rotating assy. I guess it's a great way to learn... or get screwed depending on one's outlook...
