will .600 lift cam work
#1
i just recently picked up a .584/.600 lift cam. i dont have any other specs on it yet. i am going to degree it next week hopfully. is the lift to much on a stock 5.3 with no internal mods? i dont want to be bending valves. this is a LS1 cam so do i need to use longer pushrods??
does anyone have any valve springs forsale.

I'm running 224/230 610/605 111 in my stock 5.3. Run a set of Patriot Extremes dual springs with new Seats so they don't bind up. Also make sure you have hardened 7.4 pushrods for any after market cam.
what year is the engine?
