what amount of hp can a stock l92 bottom end handle?
ive acquired a blown l92 engine, dropped a valve in cyl 5 and then sent pieces through intake and destroyed both cyl 5 and 7 pistons and connecting rods, the sleeves are clean, no gouges, had them checked, crank is also clean, originally wanted to stroke to a 416, but i have the chance to get two new stock connecting rods and would only have to get two pistons to reassemble the engine
using ported heads, bigger cam, not sure how big, depends on what i do with the bottom end, but im curious as to how much the stock bottom end will handle or if id be better off going with a forged bottom end,
shooting for the 600-650 hm range
thanks for any help

some have put down 1,600, the new stock cranks are a nice piece compared to old school 350 motors, ive researched it before and ive seen people running anywhere from 800-1000 hp but you probably want a good tune
