Default what will happen?

I will be upgrading from a stock cam to a TSP 220 within the next couple of weeks. I already have a tune from blackbear for the LTs and other typical bolt ons and a 2800 Circle D converter. I'm not sure if I will be able to update my tune for the cam right away. Will I be not be able to drive my truck without doing any harm etc or will I just not be getting optimal performance?
thanks

It will still be drivable, but like stated before, don't get on it, and you will probably have to get good at two footing it at stop lights. Otherwise you will be fine to drive it just around town for a bit.

What's gonna keep you from updating the tune?

As stated, you are going to have to mash the crap out of the brake pedal when stopping at a stop light or stop sign etc.. I wouldn't get on it either. It would be fine to just take it around the block once or twice, but I would want to watch the air fuel ratio.

I was tuned for my LTs and my mods and swapped in the TSP 220 and it would idle but I didnt take it for a ride cause it would have not been fun keeping it running and didn't wanna hurt the motor. Wait for the swap till u can get it tuned

Work is crazy and I only have a small window of time where I can actually do the install. From my past experience, Blackbear was backed up with business. I might as well wait and not be so impatient. It sounds like my truck will be without the tune. thanks for the answers
