UH OH!!

Only code thats comin up is P0300 Random Multiple missfire..

So i had to get a tow home about an hour ago, Went out on a drive and i was doin a WOT run from about 60-90mph, And after it shifted into 3rd it kinda fell on its face a lil bit. so i let out and slowed down and it started flashin the check engine light so i pulled over to check the plug wires and it sounded like it was missing..

Checked all the wires and made sure they were all connected, I can fire it up but it takes a lil pedal, and it wont run without givin it some gas.. def doesnt sound good, sounds internal. Sounds like it may have a small knock too.(Bent pushrods, valvespring something). It almost sounds like it could be starving for fuel too. I didnt wanna keep it running for to long incase thing got worse. I know its hard to diagnose a problem without hearing it.. Just wanted to see what you guys thought before it goes to the tuner monday.


Edit: Its also on a safe tune right now.

 

easiest thing is to just pull the valve cover and take a peek...maybe a rocker arm loosed up or something stupid like that

 

Ya me and parke10 thought the same thing, Thats almost what it sounds like..

 

Damn dude that sucks! Not even a full weekend of the new cam and ***** busted. Good luck on getting it resolved.

 

Tell me about it.. I havent Beat on it all. Only like 4-5 WOT runs since install..
Talked to my tuner hes going to take a look at it Monday morning and see what the problem is. Hopefully nothing to major..

Im not talkin runnin it thru the gears, Just like a couple 60-90mphs and a couple 30 or so to 70mph. And not all in 1 day. I didnt think that was to much...

Hopefully it's just a backed off rocker, it happened to me and I was freaking.
