LQ4/LQ9 shortblock
Stage 2 LS6 heads
cam of choice - id think you would want a 224 or bigger
LS6 intake swap
ARP rod bolts, and other hardware
full boltons - https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...hlight=boltons
built 65e, FLT or performabuilt
3.73s or bigger gears
aftermarket LSD

yes all boltons will swap over from the 5.3 to the new motor.

longtube headers will be much better than the shorties.

yes the P&P tb will work on the ls6 intake, it has the same size inlet as the truck manifold.

the ls6 intake will require car-style fuel rails, injectors, injector wiring harness pigtails, and something will need to be done to the water pump, either a truck pulley pressed onto a fbody pump, a L92 pump

you would be able to get a lq4 shortblock much cheaper.

the ls2 is aluminum GEN4 engine. a few sensors are located differently
