Default What cold air intake people running

Buying a full system for the truck and thought about going with the s&b wanting to no what peoples thought where or options.

i bought a volant and fabbed a 4' tube into it and I run a big K&N filter inside

See I heard a lot of people went with the airaid but dang they are ungodly expensive.

Plus Travis ur running a supercharger where I wish I was at or running a turbo.

I think the airaid with their filter is cheaper than the full K&n kit.

The stock airbox isnt a issue with bringing in air, it's already in the best spot and has a fender entrance. I'd just get a MIT tube with filter for a nice and clean look.

What I've seen the bigger tube and filter are about 1/4 less than buying a new full system and the new system looks allot better than the stock box

I use and recommend a "modded" specter.
Have posted numerous posts here on how to mod it.

SLP makes a nice system for the truck. It is open on bottom and sealed lid. I block off the bottom and RTV an aluminum plate in when offroading (not often). It takes air from the factory location as well. Works fine for the 6.0 I have.

Well I went threw race proven proformance and got a good deal on my s&b intake
