Yup...Thats what it looked like...at least thru the tears! Shudn't this thing be hardened? Anyone else sell them but Speed? Did u just replace with the same part? R/

I was takin it easy
...one little burnout on the smaller winter wheel setup shuda been a cinch after we laid 150' with the 305's! the shop had a good laugh, but promised to fix it asap once I get Speed to return emails or calls!

I saw an article about the ring and pinion gears used in top fuelers and they keep the gears soft and use different steel to begin with , the hardened gears were shattering under the huge HP levels!!

Well I ordered both the the speed part and another that might work for half the price...not much to lose as the Spped parts are made to order, and the other will be here tomorrow and returnable locally. I also ordered sealed u-joints...lets see if I can actually get this in my driveway and do more miles than I spend $1000 bills on this thing!
