once i pulled it out i recongnized it..i remember a while back a guy said the machine shop said they found it after vattin it or somethin

I wonder if that could have been what caused RotaryRessurection's oil pressure problems.

I've never heard of one of those failing (it's just a plastic barbell basically), but I have heard of people doing engine overhauls and forgetting to re-install that part.

Thats the rear oil galley plug. I'd go ahead and replace it. They are cheap. Just be sure to lube the oring on the new one.

IIRC there are 2 aren't there? One is like orange in color the other is white. I removed both to get the machine work done.
