Default Wanted: 383 stroker

Hey im looking at building a 383 stroker. I just am starting off with the block that i have to send off to the machine shop. Im looking for the internals to begin this. Looking for used items. Cheapest kit i found was $500. Anyone have crank or pistons?

ls1 based? if so where the hell did you find a kit for 500 bucks? Cheapest I've found is $1,800.

My guess is it was a gen I/II stroker kit which isn't even close to the same. That's also not to mention that an ls1 version would technically be a 382 stroker.

Im pretty sure thats what motor he meant for as well, but still I'd like conformation...but this guy seems to have disappeared

He has a 99-02 truck which lead me to believe he meant lsx based. Who knows though.
