cleaning out heads?

what can i use to clean out the gunk inside my heads? ive taken out the valves and wondering what solution can i use to disolve the gunk and wipe the heads down clean

sweet thanks! ive tried wd-40 but didnt really lift up the the gunk but brake cleaner is what ima try now thanks again
