Valve spring swap?

Default Valve spring swap?

I have a 2004 lm7 with ls6 springs im going to be swaping to dual springs for.my turbo. I bought the tool to pressurize the valve so i dont have to pull the heads i was jw what psi do i need to have going into the spark plug hole to keep the valves up?

90-150 psi works. My compressor is regulated to 165 psi, and I don't lower it for this type of job.

I think mine maxes at 135 its a 30 gallon tank but i can set the valve to make i run say 100 psi orsomthing?

Your good 100 is what I set mine at worked out fine on my last swap

Ok cool im ill do that then. And i guess just turn the crank by hand and do each one?

Any chance you guys have the information on the tool used to do this? I'll admit I'm being a bit lazy, but moreso just want to know what is the preferred tool to do it.. I forsee this swap in my future and I'd prefer to have the preferred tool vs. something I found online.

i used 1/4'' nylon rope, good alternative if you dont have air..

I just turned the crank so that piston is at TDC...
