both would work nice. crane cam one would be a lot faster, do two springs at once. a lot of guys used and liked it. here is the link to tim's tool, i think he still sells them. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...light=tim+tool

BlackGMC used the first one to change my springs, along with air compressor hose with a spark plug fitting to keep the valves up.

The Crane tool rocks, makes changing springs a breeze. I also have the tool in the 2nd link that you posted, and I don't like it...it can shift and slip and doesn't work very well on the springs near the firewall. The Crane tool is worth the extra coin IMO.

if money isn't an issue and plan on doing more than one cam swap, go w/crane cam one. i used tim's tool and it worked great, just make sure it stays centered and doesn't push the valve down w/ spring .

another +1 to the crane cams spring compressor. ive done 6 spring swaps, and a friend of mine just used it to do his truck again with it. 2 at once, piece of cake to use, just all-around awesome.
