It's they are what VHP recommended with the cam. I got them as a set.

If the springs are too stiff the lifters will compress and you won't be getting full lift. But if they recommended them then surely you are good.
Lifter compression is what makes a solid roller cam different than a hyd roller. A solid has more agressive lobes (opening and closing rates) since you can run a much more stiff spring on them.

So it sounds like I shouldn't have any valve float problems, which is a relief. Back to saving up for the next round of mods in the sig.

You are not having a valve float issue. When you have valve float, the power curve doesn't level off, it falls off a cliff.
If the power curve is leveling off, it is most likely because the intake port, Manifold, or headers are too small and are restricting the air flow.

I have that cam and those springs and stock rockers and everything runs great.

im pretty sure with the cams alot of us have on our trucks most of us should be looking for a better intake
