Default kenne bell doesnt know internal mods

kenne bell may know their superchargers but they sure dont know their internal engine mods...

a quote from kennebell's website
http://www.kennebell.net/faq/faq-answers4(2).htm

"A cam change for a stock pick up or SUV is not worth the expense and driveability problems."

yeah, some of that is hard to believe. They make a great product but its not the only way to performance. Some really dumb opinions there for sure.

Also it depends if you can change the tune with a cam change. Their note appears to assume that nothing changes with the tune.

Slow is refering to Speed Density ( SD ) tuning. Trucks like the Dodge 5.7L Hemi run using SD, so basically there is no Mass Air Flow sensor ( MAF ) to help measure changes in the engine performance ( like adding a cam, intake, or exhaust ).
SD works off engine speed, TPS, and MAP. Eventually a SD tune will "overwrite" or detune any gains made by aftermarket changes. So without additional computer tuning you would be wasting money installing a cam. Believe me, count your blessing that programs like LS1Edit and HPTuners are available for the GM vehicles. Dodge encrypted their programming tighter than Fort Knox and it kills me ( no mods ).
I agree tho some of the questions are on the NOOB side and the KB rep seems a little tired of answering them. Not the greatest way to encourage new business IMHO.

Kenne bell is VERY opinionated. i remember reading an article on their site saying headers showed a small gain (like 5hp) and cat-back systems showed zero gains and were a waste of money.

First rule of trying to sell a product is to not knock other guys stuff or other mods just to promote your own.
You sell on the merits of your system, not lies and BS. You may hook an uninformed fool the first time out, but all the bad publicity will bite you on the *** sooner or later.
You would think Kenn Bell would know this.....
