Tired of my 4.8, so I picked up a used lq9. Im just going to swap over my parts from my 4.8 just wondering if this small of a cam, is going to do anything in this big ole 6.0? Whats your guys opinions? Im running LT headers, and a CircleD 3200 stall also, with 4.10 gears. Single cab 06 Sierra.

 

its gonna wake the **** outta that engine in that truck.

 

Here is a 220r in a LQ9

 

It woke my LQ4 up a lot. Most cams will do that though, it's a good all around cam.

 

That's all I want to hear lol. Should be a night and day difference from my 4.8.

 

Jmak47, what else was done to that lq9? Just a cam and tune?
