Yes, they'll be a nice combo for an LQ4. Their smaller chamber will give you a little bump in compression which is a big plug on the LQ4 motor! What camshaft will you be running? It might be to your benefit to run a Stage 2.5 head (maybe even the 2.5 5.3L head in some cases).

Let me know if I can help with your build. We'd be happy to answer any of your questions and get you parts that will work well with YOUR combo without breaking the bank

Looks like something I'd wanna spend my money on.

The heads in the picture sell for $1199 @ TSP

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

My six year old could do a better job with a drimmel!

But hey it's your money......

I am confused, Matt says he is an expert,
he sure is an expert!
so Matt are you agreeing they are not worth it?
I agree with MPFD probably not worth the $. A few other heads that would be better for the $, and if money is not much of a matter there are many better choices!

LOL! Nice reply! Those heads (after decking to bring the chambers back down to a reasonable cc) went onto a stock 6.0L short-block (valve reliefs) here locally with a 228 duration camshaft and made 440rwhp in an F-body. No re-working them, no more CNC work or valve job, etc. He is very happy with his $1200 heads!

You mean to tell me you resold those heads to someone else, after the original owner had to send them back cause the CNC work was so crappy for $1200? You can't tell me that the terrible CNC work done on those heads was worth $700. If he would have milled a stock set of L92's he would have saved $600 and probably made more power!
