Default Truck Intake Maniflod..

Does anyone know of stock truck intake manifold that would flow any better than this stock 5.3 intake and that would bolt up with all the other stock parts, (throttle body, injectors & rail)...?

I am not sure if it flows any better, i can't see why it wouldn't... But on the dyno it kept pulling to 6600+ on my little 4.8... I got mine for $30 and it was a direct swap

i think it ran better, but remember this is a 4.8 so the gains are alot smaller than the bigger cube motors, also I had some tuning issues for awhile before and afterwards (not intake related) so it took awhile to fix those...

To put things in prespective the times in my sig were with the same mods i have now minus the intake, but that was in 40* weather, so i will know this winter weather the intake was worth it our not...

Seems to be an aftermarket replacement manifold.

If you're looking for a better intake to slap onto the 5.3 or 6.0, and you want a truck style, look at the TBSS 90mm and a 90mm throttle body. Get that sucker ported by a competent shop, (of which I have only seen 2 threads on that show nice gains), and you'll have a sweet package that'll work well with a cam and upgraded heads.
