I actually got a chance to take the truck out to the local 1/8th mile track last week with the new cam and stall and thought I would post up some results. I wasn't launching very high to test how traction was going to be and only made 2 runs but I was pretty happy with them. Best time of the 2 was:
.4039 R/T
2.16 60'
6.12 330'
9.47 1/8 ET
73.72 1/8 mph
This run was launching at about 2k with a passenger, 18" wheels, fiberglass cover on, and a rear end out of an 01 Tans Am in the bed of my truck. My previous best was a 9.89 with better weather conditions and no extra weight in the bed and no passenger. I think once I get it dyno tuned and get a chance to figure out what I can launch at to get decent traction they will drop some more. Hopefully in the next few weeks I can get some 1/4 mile times to post up.
