TIA
You'll be fine with the stock converter; You'll just be lacking that instant flash from the converter to put you on the cam's powerband. It'll feel like you lost some low end but that's cause of the top end gains of the cam. Gains will come very noticeable after around 3k rpm where the 220 starts to shine.

Did PAC say they had a bad batch? How did you find out that it was the spring that was at fault?

I think i will get the 1518s double spring just seems like too much over kill for this cam? I appreciate all the help guys and sorry to hear about your luck D reks and thanks for the heads up. Knowing my luck this will happen to me no matter the springs i go with..

Well the thing with rated power bands is that they are never as low as what they claim to be. the tr220 is rated between 1500-6500, however as stated above you will not feel it really kick in until ~3000rpms. So finding a cam that is truly no less than 1600-1800rpms is going to be difficult

I wish i could post ^ Damn good deal, but i would just want the cam/pushrods and buy my own springs

1518s are cheaper and are not double springs. If i were you and had a cam with a lift of .620 id get the dual springs for sure.

I ran the TR220 in my 4.8 for a while with just the stock converter . . . but I had a shift kit, and the pressure was turned up. It was solid, but fun . . . .
