for DD use and in a rcsb that converter will work out fine for you.

That was what I was thinking. If I was going to the track more often, I would have already stepped to a higher converter (along with a better LSD and tranny).

If your setup works fine in a Z-71 ec, I should have no problem in a rcsb
Thanks for the info

I know this is one old thread but what spec converter would work in a DD Yukon with this cam?

Like stated above, you'll be fine with a 2600 but will need at least a 3k to make some descent 60's at the track. I have a 3k Vig and 410's and don't think gas mileage is that bad, I get 18-19 highway mpg.

i have a B&M 2400 stall and 3.73 gears and my last run I hit a 1.87 60'. that is with a TR224(custom ground) cam and on street tires.

So you don't HAVE to have a huge stall as long as you have you've got everything else set-up right. BUT,I know it would be much faster if I did throw in a larger stall.

Its quick enough the way it is...for now.

I am happy with my 2600 yank. I got it because I was able to keep my stock tow capacity but its also great for the street. My truck is my DD, I think if I went with a 3000 stall I would have blown my trans by now, I guess I am playing it safe too.
