what is needed as far as gaskets, fluid, misc. other stuff to install a cam anyone know where to find a good write up?

Front seal, cover gasket, water pump gaskets, crank bolt, you could probably re-use the stock valve cover gaskets too. I would double check the length for the pushrods tho.
