I'm about to install some 243 heads that have been P and P and shaved .030, a 220/220 cam, and some new long tubes, then get re-tuned... just trying to figure out what size injectors you guys think i'm going to need for this. Do you think that the truck 8.1 injectors will be fine with this set up?

 

Get the marine ones. The 42#ers should be just fine.

 

My stockones were fine with a similar setup. They were near their limits based on duty cycle but still were fine.
