Way too big... It will sound good, but it will probably hurt you more than help.

227/241 that is a large split like that you would see with L92 heads. I wonder why the split is so big. Usually you see a split of 6-8 degrees, not 14

I will be going to the L92 heads later, just not at the moment. I haven't ordered the cam just yet because I was looking at GM #88958722, 227/239 .551/.551 on 108lsa. It's only 375 from Scoggin Dickey and the Thumpr is closer to 400 for essentially the same thing. Still has 17 degrees of overlap, the GM is lackin 2 degrees of exhaust duration, and the lift is equal on the intake/exhaust where the thumpr is greater on the intake side.

That GM Cam is actually the "stage 2 hotcam" for the LS7's. They have a stage 3, but...it's not worth it from what I've read. it's a 233/276 (yes, that's at .050) .595/.595 on 107lsa.

Here's a sound clip of the stage 2 cam...

and here's one of the stage 3...

you need the extra duration on the exhaust side for the l92 heads because of the awesome intake. a lot of cam companies have started making specific cams for the l92 just like that.
