Default Has anyone stroked the 6.0 via Lunati?

I see that Lunati offers a rotating assenbly for the LS1 that increases the displacement to 383ci. I think this will put the LQ4 up to 401-409ish.
Now, what I want out of my truck (99' GMC 4x4 EC LB 3/4 ton) is more torque from idle to 3000rpm. I don't care about peak hp...I've got a Z28 for those thrills

My truck is closing in on 90k miles so I'm thinking that a .030 over cylinder cleanup, Lunati stroker kit, some light head porting (stock cast iron heads/maybe new aluminum heads), and a torque specific cam will put me in Duramax territory concerning torque. Anyone think this is the right route to go for my goals?

I know a few of you are thinking forced induction and that would be my second choice.

I wish someone would buy one of those kits. I have seen them and have wondered how well they will do.

Hmmm. I guess I may be the first to try this.... in a truck anyway. Gonna have to wait till after winter/hunting season though. I'm thinking a few weeks of downtime if I can find a good builder around here.

I had a 4.060 bore 6.0 with a custom offset ground 4.075 Lunati crank, big LS6 heads and big 244/244/112 cam and I made 475rwhp/505rwtq in my Formula, with the converter locked, and with high drivetrain loss.

We just built one for a truck waiting to get it tuned and dynoed. But it was a 4.030 bore 4.125 crank 422cid should be a monster.

It looks like with a 4.030" bore and the 4" stroke I'm looking at 408ci. Any suggestions for a cam? Remember, it's low to mid torque that I'm after.
