can a 4.8 be bored & stroked to a 5.3??
Wondering since the only differences between the 4.8 and 5.3 is the bore and stroke, can this be easily done?
I kinda came across a '03 4.8 single cab stepside.....cant seem to find any 5.3's in an '03 single cab

the only diffrence in them is the stroke. So all you would need is the crank. they are the same as the 5.7 crank so should be prety easy to find. not sure if you need diffrent rods or pistons for more stroke. Believe you don't but not 100% sure.
