thicker oil for new cam??

Default thicker oil for new cam??

im curretntly runnign mobil 1 5w 30 like most others, im adding a new cam on my lq9 again ( becuase it spun a cam bearing) and im thinking maybe the oil wasnt thick enough with the upgraded cam and comp 918 springs, is there anyone running a thicker oil and if so what is it or what are your thought about this??

Run M1 Just run the normal viscosity, the spun bearing was a result of somethine else

I'm now running Mobil1 10/30 and I stopped getting slap
Was M1 5/30
